Pays your monthly mortgage premium in the event that you are unable to work due to accident, sickness or unemployment.
It is available as a single or joint policy but if it is in joint names it will only pay out a proportion if one of you is unable to work.
An enhancement of up to 25% of your monthly mortgage payment is available with most policies (up to a maximum of £2000 with our online policy) to cover related costs such as life insurance premiums and house insurance premiums.
This type of policy will pay out for up to 12 months. If you require a policy that will pay out a monthly benefit for a longer specified fixed term or until you retire, then you should consider an Income Protection policy.
