Rate Protect Fee Structure
The Rate Protect Review Service
The Rate Protect Review is a 2 stage process.
After an initial telephone conversation with you, our Rate Protect analyst will complete a detailed Stress Test review of your property portfolio. The resulting report is delivered to you on a face to face basis either at our office in Taunton or at your home / office. This report examines in depth the current position of your portfolio, considers the precise impact of interest rate movements and works though all available options to you in an easy to understand way. The outcome will be to agree with you where any interest rate protection needs to sit and will deliver indicative costs of that protection.
A fee is payable upfront for Stage 1 of The Rate Protect Review on the following basis:

Less than 10 properties £295
11-20 properties £395
More than 20 properties £495
On the assumption that you decide to proceed, Stage 2 of The Rate Protect Review involves introducing you to both the providers of the hedging product itself and any prospective financiers of the premium payable, if appropriate. Premium finance will have been fully agreed prior to introducing you to the prospective funder. The hedging product provider will meet with you and make a detailed presentation of the selected method of hedging your interest rate risk.
Our final fees, payable at inception of the hedging contract and, generally speaking, included in the premium finance, are as follows:
